It should be always be noted that any elective procedure such as cosmetic surgery does involve risks, just like any operation, and should therefore should be treated accordingly. This can be done by gathering as much information on the procedure as you possibly can. In addition to gathering information on the procedure, it is also very important to check a physician’s credentials, looking for those physicians trained in cosmetic techniques, such as Board Certified Plastic Surgeons, Otolaryngologists , and Opthalmologists.

Today’s vehicle has

Today’s vehicle has made great strides toward being more than just a foot propelled box. There have been significant innovations in steering and suspension, increased durability and quality of parts, and advancements in tire design and composition that have made significant improvements in the way a vehicle drives and how safe the driver is.

A vehicle’s suspension system is comprised of 2 fundamental functions: keeping the vehicle’s tires firmly planted on the road, and to offer a comfortable, bump-free ride for everyone inside. There is nothing worse than riding along a pothole filled road and feeling all the little holes, crevices, dips, and bumps.

No matter what the dress

No matter what the dress that you have chosen you will know that your flower girl dress is going to end up looking great on the little girl wearing it because it seem like no matter what flower girl dress they have on they make them all look great.

With all the different styles of flower girl dresses that are out there you will want to take your time to choose a dress that is going to match up to the wedding party and the flower girl perfectly so that you are going to have a great day. You are not going to want to get a flower girls dress that they are not going to be comfortable in because then they are going to want to take it off shortly after they get it on because they are not comfortable. That is why it is a good idea to have the flower girl with you when you are choosing a flower girls dress to wear in your wedding.

The flower girl dress is going to be worn more often once the wedding is over because they are made so that the little girl will be able to wear it more than once.

I won’t pay tax until council fixes this leak

0 Comments | Evening Post; Bristol (UK), Jul 27, 2010 | by Liz Webster

A SHIREHAMPTON pharmacist has vowed to stop paying her council tax until authorities protect her flooded home.

Helen Potgieter, 55, who lives in Station Road, found her herself ankle deep in water last week after heavy rain hit Bristol.

Ms Potgieter, who is originally from South Africa, said the water gushed into her basement through a crack in the road in front of the house.

She said she had been in an ongoing battle with the council to repair the damage which has cost her thousands of pounds.

She said: “We had the mother of all storms last week and it sent a river of water running down the road. It didn’t seep into my basement it poured in through the walls. There was nothing we could do and within 15 minutes the water was 12 inches deep.

“My office was set up down there and all the electrics have blown. We had to wade through the dirty water to start cleaning up with no idea if we were going to be electrocuted. For all we knew it could have been mixed with sewage.”

Ms Potgieter moved into the property two years ago and said it was soon after that the crack appeared between the road. She said she has carried out dye tests to check this is how the water has been getting into her home as well as employing companies to waterproof the building. She is now threatening to take action and said she is prepared to go to jail as a result.

She said: “I’ve already laid some concrete in the crack, which I’m not supposed to do but I have to protect my home. I’m worried about what is going on underneath the road – the water needs to be stopped at the source otherwise it will drain somewhere else. The council say its not their problem but that’s like BP telling the residents of Louisiana to protect their own beaches from the oil spill. My basement is turning into a big storm drain. The road could be eroding underneath – its dangerous. I’m worried the wall will cave or the road will collapse.

“I’ve done everything I can to waterproof the wall. I’m happy to lay everything on the line and go to jail to protect my home

We live in

We live in troubled, unpredictable times. People must contend with changing economic issues, employment disruptions, family problems, health upsets, crime, and consequences. Through awareness, we can perhaps gain clarity when, standing flat-footed over home plate, the curve ball comes while we were expecting a fast pitch.

For Sale By Owners: FSBO is a novel about people. Not perfect people. It begs the question, “What would For Sale By Owners do if they knew they were really buying trouble?” As former real estate broker, I am qualified to shed some light on this often un-addressed area of concern. Most agents are reluctant to tell people just how dangerous it is to open their doors to strangers.

Understandably, people who must sell homes do not want to pay brokerage fees, if they can avoid it.

The flooding waters become polluted with chemicals and human waste. All of these things can cause severe stomach pains, disease and death to those who drink the water.

There are a number of very good personal water filtration systems out there, but many of them will not kill the bacteria, which is in the water. Some recommend using Clorox or chlorine to clean the water before you drink it. But if you are on your roof you may not be able to get to your laundry cleaning supplies to get it. If you swim down into your house underwater you might end up contaminating yourself with the very bacteria you are trying to prevent from getting into your body or you could die trying to swim in and swim out if you get stuck inside your house underwater and drown.

There are a few small personal devices, which can keep you alive and if you live under the water levels or behind a dam or levee you may wish to consider these.

Health Net Launches Medicare Advantage Plan for Latinos

0 Comments | Wireless News, Oct 26, 2009

Health Net, Inc. said that it has launched Salud con Health Net Medicare Advantage HMO, a new Medicare Advantage HMO plan targeting senior Latinos.

Building on Health Net’s suite of Salud con Health Net products currently available to employers and individuals, this new medical and prescription drug plan provides Latino Medicare beneficiaries access to culturally sensitive health care services in the counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino for the annual enrollment period, beginning November 15, the Company noted in a release. The launch was announced at Health Net’s East Los Angeles Community Solutions Center.

“The Latino community is the fastest-growing market in California,” said Ana Andrade, Health Net, Inc. vice president of Latino Programs, who led the launch of the company’s first Salud product in 2000. “With this plan, Latino seniors can count on affordability, cost predictability and quality care from a network of culturally sensitive health care providers who are Latino or are trained and experienced in providing medical care that recognizes the special needs of Latinos.”

Health Net said that Salud Medicare has a $0 monthly premium and $0 doctor and hospital copayments. It also covers transportation services for medical-related appointments to the plan’s targeted network of health care providers. Members also have the opportunity to improve their health and well-being through a program called “Silver and Fit,” which encourages members to reap the health and wellness benefits of a fitness routine – whether in the comfort of their own home or by enrolling for a no-charge membership at a local health club.

David Hayes-Bautista, Ph.D., a national expert on Latino health care, said Health Net’s Salud Medicare is a step in the right direction. “While Latino seniors tend to see doctors and use hospitals less often than their non-Latino peers, it is important that they are comfortable in accessing the health care system when they need to and are encouraged to seek preventive care,” said Hayes- Bautisita. “Health Net selected physician and other caregivers for its provider network who bridge the cultural and language gaps that can create barriers for Latino patients.”

According to the latest U.S. Census figures, Latino seniors, ages 65 and older, currently total 2.3 million and make up 6.5 percent of the U.S. elderly population

Enjoying all the luxuries of power

Enjoying all the luxuries of power

Byline: BRIAN SEYMOUR-SMITH

Dear Editor, I’m sure that the people of Northfield will be joining in the celebrations of Mike Whitby’s announcement that Birmingham will have “one of the lowest council taxes in the country”.

I can see flag waving from the people of Kingshurst Road, Tessall Lane and Kemshead Avenue who have virtually no street lighting, those people with numerous filthy alleyways which only get cleaned at election time, those people of the Austin Village, Turves Green and around Fairfax Road who have suffered badly from the council failing to support them in their bid to curb anti-social behaviour.

The good news is Mike, at least you have a newly decorated office, and those sixinch thick carpets in the Council House look really good. What’s even more amazing is that your Liberal buddies continue to vote for all this extravagance, but there again, power’s a wonderful thing.
